Deliver - driver friendly - package not damaged

I have been looking for mains-powered picture lights for some time, but there are no easy ways of installing them. In the meantime I found battery-powered, remote control lights on the Lyco site and ordered several. These arrived within two days and are exactly as described - very happy with the outcome.

I purchased some LED bulbs from Lyco that were promptly despatched, well packaged and exactly as described. Unfortunately their choice of courier, APC Overnight, wasn't great for me.

APC Overnight is a network of independent companies and the company covering Essex and West Kent is overwhelmed and unable to meet the promised service levels. After sending the parcel out for delivery 2 days in a row but not delivering it and then marking it "no-one available to receive the parcel", which was a lie, I opted to collect from depot. After another day for them to find it in the chaos I finally got hold of the package.

When I contacted Lyco support they responded quickly and did what they could to help.

These LED striplights supplied by Lyco are cheap rubbish. OPTONICA IP20 45w LED batten light.
They come with a 3 inch (7cm) flex, far to small to use, try connecting that in a roof space.
Unable to to wire in a loop as there are no connection points.
The fitting clips are a very soft metal and bend very very easily.
Far superior alternatives out there that I've use many times before

Order not received, placed before Christmas, contacted company via PayPal, no communication, delivery company DX, who I assume were delivering on behalf of Lyco confirmed delivery today to a person named I have no idea who it is!
Delivery company had incorrect postcode. Very poor delivery and no communication from lyco
Checked on PayPal again and I have been refunded would have appreciated replacement order sent out. Unfortunately no communication to offer me a choice!

Prompt delivery, unfortunately very slight damage to the LED batten light translucent. The light worked OK for ten minutes but 1/2 hour later only half the light was working. Reported to Lyco who are replacing the unit.Excellent service

Despite being the last business day before New Year weekend, I received extremely prompt response to a query about configuring under cabinet lighting on the basis of which I confirmed my order. Although selecting standard delivery, my complete order was on my doorstep in less than 24 hours (on Saturday).

My package has not turned unfortunately I won’t have no light this Christmas due your delivery driver stating he delivered the parcel to my house which I have not received this will be a dark Christmas for me and my family I have tried more than 10 times to contract you guys but no response

I bought 4x6ft led batten lights for my garage over two years ago and one of them failed last week. I emailed Lyco, with a copy of my receipt, to ask about replacement under warranty and, to my astonishment, I received a reply (from Laura) just four (yes 4) minutes later with an apology and confirmation that a replacement will be sent and to bin the defective unit. Tracking and dispatch notification was received the same day.

Even with all the delivery disruption at the moment, the lamp arrived yesterday and I will be fitting after Christmas. I've shopped online for well over 20 years and this is one of the best aftersales experiences I've ever had. I'll be shopping here in future for my lighting needs and will continue to recommend to friends and family. Thank you Lyco (and Laura)!

Still awaiting for an item to be delivered from 3 weeks ago and impossible to contact their Customer Services or APC .Communication like a see-saw , item lost in transporting to Thorne Depot. Also been trying to return 2 VERY VERY poor quality light fittings that have arrived all broken in their packaging from APC, driver just throwing them down next door !!
